So many blue skies.

Yes, when it rains, it rains,

But in between -

So many blue skies.

After August's downpours

The endless squidgy days

Damp evenings and dull nights

At last in late September

So many blue skies.

On the beach this morning

Blade surfers ride the tide

Waves tumbling in a crystal haze

Of low sunlight;

So many blue skies.

Evening deepens

Into cobalt night

So many blue skies.
