A woman is talking loudly to herself.

I thought at first that she was on her phone -

So many people broadcast to the world

Details that we'd rather not have known-

But she is rambling, incoherent, though

Happy, as she often laughs out loud.

Those of us close by try to ignore

As she seems oblivious to the crowd

Unless she manages to catch the eye

Of some unwary listener, when she grins

At them, launching in as if they knew

Her history from back when it begins.
